Digital Photography in the classroom

SESSION DESCRIPTION

Students will use digital photography to demonstrate their understanding of the elements of design in visual arts. By teaching students the fundamentals of composition and the elements of design through a digital eye. We will teach the students to identify the different elements and create a scavenger hunt digital book to share their understanding. A brief slide show to show the steps in the project and then a quick photography scavenger hunt.

PRESENTER BIO

I have worked in a number of different positions ranging from library, ESL, and mostly intermediate grades. I really enjoy collaborating with other teachers and seeing how we can include the use of technology throughout the curriculum.
