SESSION DESCRIPTION
This session will be directed at those who have some experience using G-Suite, but are wishing to go deeper in their learning and classroom integration. The pace and direction of this session will be flexible to meet the needs of the learners in the room! We will show tips and tricks that work for us in our Secondary Math and English Classroom and we can help with troubleshooting challenges. Learners will leave this session with applicable and easy to implement ideas for personalizing student learning, streamlining workflow, and ways to use the Google Apps to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom. Apps explored: Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Classroom, Google Sites
PRESENTER BIOS Mellissa has been teaching Secondary English for more than a decade and is a Level One and Two Certified Google Educator, which pretty much makes her a super nerd. In her spare time she likes to play in the dirt, whether hiking, camping, or going on horseback adventures perfecting the ‘technology : fresh air’ ratio. Heather is always learning new things and changing her teaching practice. She teaches Senior math at Mount Boucherie. She loves to play with technology, google, 3d printing,and robots. She celebrates Pi day and Star wars Day.
